Hermann Schlimme is Research Scholar at the Bibliotheca Hertziana, Max Planck Institute for Art History in Rome, Co-Editor of "Construction History. International Journal of the Construction History Society" and currently Guest Professor for History of Architecture at Vienna University of Technology. His research focuses on the history of architecture in early modern Italy, 20th century history of architecture, construction history and the epistemic bases of architectural achievements.
