Antonio Becchi is a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science and since 2012 correspondent member of the International Academy of the History of Science. He is co-founder of the Edoardo Benvenuto Association for the History of Structural Mechanics (1998) and of the Bibliotheca Mechanico-Architectonica (2007). His research interests include the history of mechanics, of construction, and of the mathematical disciplines between mechanics and architecture.
